WE ARE ALL BORN CREATIVE

Helping others in their creative pursuits has been one of the most rewarding things I've done. We are all born creative. It's not something we have to learn. What we do learn is a lot of limiting beliefs about who gets to be creative. Unlearning them is a process that requires intention and courage.

I've met many people in my life who have the impulse and the desire to create, but are held back by doubt, fear, or shame. Those are all perfectly acceptable, understandable reasons to not take the risk of expressing yourself. But, I would argue that those are equally good reasons to take the risk. It's how we grow. 

Every time you push through the fear and resistance it leads to growth. You learn something about yourself, about people, about life.

The creative act, bringing something into existence, starts with giving yourself permission to take risks. To try and fail. That requires being vulnerable, scared, and doing it anyway. Again and again. Thats a lot to ask of yourself. It's so much easier not to do those things. But, when you do, it changes you. You feel differently about yourself. You see the world differently. You relate to others at a deeper level.
